Previously spotted on the label’s very first release as one half of Tiefschwarz – and going even further back, he was also part of some of Re.You’s earliest YOUNION events – the older Schwarz brother returns with three stunning story-telling sonics. Please settle and get comfy for ‘Sorry, Not Sorry’.

Playful, sprightly and full of positivity, each cut on this EP captures an innocence and energy that’s hard to find in house and techno during these forever turbulent times. ‘Sorry Not Sorry’ kicks things off with shiny, harmonic chiming arpeggios, subtle voices sent from somewhere above the clouds and late entering pianos adding just the right amount of drama.

It’s in the best possible company as ‘Rave Tropical’ continues the crystalline, vibrant themes. Big swooping synths, a strong sense of theatre and a growing sense of momentum build up to some classic rave keys that fly in when you least expect them, and bring rapturous results when they do.

Last but not least we have the emotionally potent ‘I Can ’. The type of track you might end the night with and see everyone hugging to. There’s a dreamy filmic quality to Ali’s work here. A quality that Younion has been synonymous with since day one…
