YOUNION: a concept that’s already enthralled, engaged and enraptured heads from Barcelona hotel rooftops to underground Berlin hubs. Founded by Re.You, the premise is simple – to select a small amount of DJs to soundtrack the whole night with him. Each night unique in its curation and creation so far guests have included the likes of &Me, Tiefschwarz, Anja Schnieder and Adana Twins.

Now Re.You is realising those magic moments in a tangible sense with the brand new YOUNION label. Just like the events, he carefully considers two innovative artists to join him on a deep, hypnotic audio adventure. And the journey starts right here with Terranova and Eins Tiefer.
Longstanding and hugely prolific Berlin band Terranova take the lead with ‘The Girls Are Hungry’, a creeped out mood-setter where vocal textures wrap around the staccato elements with smoky, mysterious allure. There’s a reason why they work so well with Kompakt… And this says it all.
Re.You follows with a darker twist again… ‘Break It Down’ lives up to its name with Winkish acidic charm. Rolling toms and analogue percussive elements set the scene as the groove steadily rises and rises before a humanised element plunges deeper and deeper into a restrained pool of acid tension.

Finally hot-hype Berlin duo Eins Tiefer wrap up the night with a hip-shaking dubby workout ‘Dzone’. Sultry, slinky and shrouded in darkside soul, it represents the deep, undulating, immersive groove that YOUNION has made a name for itself.
